Morocco has a diverse geography, from the colder and wetter Mediterranean and Atlantic coast in the north, to the desperately hot and arid deserts and mountains of the south. Customers can encounter a wide range of weather conditions and must be prepared. Wherever they go in the country, they should carry bottled water and drink as much as they can to avoid dehydration.
* Bring a sweater or light jacket for evenings and fierce air-conditioned interiors.
* Pack comfortable walking shoes. Shoes with crepe or rubber soles are best for walking in the desert and in temples.
* Pack a bathing suit; many local hotels have swimming pools.
* Sunglasses, sunscreen and sun hat.
