HOW CAN WE HELP?

A 50% deposit is required to confirm the reservation and secure the space. Payment is accepted by credit card or bank transfer. Or payment online, the rest must be paid 1 month before the arrival date. For payment by credit card an additional 5% will be charged.

The traveler must have in his possession a valid signed passport that will remain valid for at least 6 months after the end of his trip. Entry with identity document is not allowed. It is the responsibility of each traveler to obtain all the necessary documents for entry to Morocco.

Basic medicines: We recommend that you take some of the usual medicines with you such as paracetamol, an antibiotic for the stomach, lactic acid ferments. You should avoid eating cold foods. too often and drinks with ice. No type of vaccination is required.

Morocco has a diverse geography, from the colder and wetter Mediterranean and Atlantic coast in the north, to the desperately hot and arid deserts and mountains of the south. Customers can encounter a wide range of weather conditions and must be prepared. Wherever they go in the country, they should carry bottled water and drink as much as they can to avoid dehydration.
* Bring a sweater or light jacket for evenings and fierce air-conditioned interiors.
* Pack comfortable walking shoes. Shoes with crepe or rubber soles are best for walking in the desert and in temples.
* Pack a bathing suit; many local hotels have swimming pools.
* Sunglasses, sunscreen and sun hat.

The local currency is the Dirham (Dhs). Foreign currencies can be converted at most banks, but it is not advisable to carry too much. Pounds sterling, US dollars or euros can be exchanged into local currency at any hotel, airport or exchange office. The exchange rate is fairly fixed and the commission rates are low or non-existent. It is illegal to import or export Moroccan currency.

ATMs are installed in most cities, providing a safe and cost-effective way to retrieve money from a bank account or credit card (usually up to a maximum of 4000 Dhs). It can be difficult to find an ATM that carries your card outside of big cities; customers should always make sure they have enough cash to carry to the next major city. Banks are generally open Monday through Friday from 08:30 to 16:00.

As in all foreign countries, it is considered polite to adhere to and show respect for local customs. Urban culture is heavily influenced by Western culture, but traditional values and crafts continue in rural areas. Customers should always ask permission before taking pictures of the local people, as they can easily be offended. Visiting mosques or other religious sites requires conservative dress. Both sexes should cover their arms, legs and shoulders. Women must cover their heads with a scarf when entering a mosque.

Tipping is a custom in Morocco, and although it certainly depends on the criteria of each client, to some extent it is recommended to ensure the best level of service.
